Gold Medal Ales are produced monthly
in recognition of some of the 'greats' of history. This beer is a celebration of 30 successful years of brewing at Burton Bridge Brewery by Bruce Wilkinson and Geoff Mumford. Bridge Bitter was the first brew on 25th May 1982 and this is a slightly stronger version of that beer with Target and Challenger copper hops plus Styrian Golding late hops. Our pump clip image is a version of their original logo with the faces of Geoff & Bruce superimposed on the two 19th Century brewers. Although our intrepid duo have not been around as long as that, they are still rare survivors of the first wave of new brewers. |
